Medvedev approves development of Russian competition plan
MOSCOW, Sep 29 (PRIME) -- Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has approved a proposal to develop a national competition development plan, and the Federal Antimonopoly Service will report to the government on its first steps in two months, the service’s Director Igor Artemyev told reporters Thursday.
“Medvedev has agreed with the proposal from us and several ministries to develop and submit to the Russian president a national plan for improvement of competition in Russia,” he said, adding that the plan will be similar to the national plan for fighting corruption.
“The government is now working on corresponding bills. We have received a firm ruling of the prime minister to submit corresponding suggestions and bills in two months and we will coordinate them with the presidential administration.”
